Day 1: Phnom Penh Motorbike Tour to Kampong Cham (B,-,-)

After the tour introduction and safety briefing, we begin our trip with a ride on the village road along the Mekong River toward Kampong Cham – the country’s largest province. Once you get used to the bike, we will take the back road out of Phnom Penh with little traffic along the scenic road. We will stop regularly to see the sights along the way, including a stop at the silk weaving village, where we see villagers sitting underneath their house on stilts producing shiny silk scarves called kroma using their traditional wooden loom.

Along the way, there are numerous family-size businesses, including kantel – the old-fashioned but must-have mat weaved from river reed. We also make a river crossing using wooden ferry that locals use for their daily river crossing. On arrival to Kampong Cham, we check-in to hotel and relax in this nice colonial town.

Today, we continue riding along the Mekong and make a stop at the 1500 years old holy site of the pre-Angkorian Khmer – Wat Hanchey, that was built in 6th century AD. We get to the hilltop and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mekong and the surrounding landscape.

Continue riding along the Mekong toward Kratie where we pass by lots of plantations including rubber, cassava and other seasonal plantations. We arrive in the afternoon and check-in the hotel to freshen up before heading to watch Fresh Water Mekong Dolphin in Kampi during the sundown.

This morning, we depart Kratie and heading towards eastern highland of Cambodia where we cross some section of small trails and off-road ride to test our skill.

After short off-road fun, we hit the excellent road while going uphill to enjoy breathtaking scenery before arriving Sen Monorom. If time permit, we take short ride around town to visit waterfalls and hilltribe villages nearby.

Day 4: Phnom Penh Motorcycle Tour To Kampong Cham, Kratie, Ta Seng and Siem Reap: Mondulkiri motorbike tour to Ratanakiri (B,-,-)

We leave Sen Monorom and continue North to Ratanakiri via Koh Nhek along the quiet road in the forest.

Along the way, we make some stops at a town half way and possibly a waterfall. Once arrived in Ban Lung, we check-in the hotel and freshen up before making short ride around red-soil town and a visit to the magical crater lake of Yeak Laom during the sunset time.

Day 6: Phnom Penh Motorcycle Tour To Kampong Cham, Kratie, Ta Seng and Siem Reap: Ratanakiri motorbike tour to Stung Treng (B,-,-)

We leave Ban Lung heading in the northwest direction, crossing bamboo forests before reaching the village of Veun Sai located on the left bank of the Se San River. The view of the Chinese village on the other side of the river is quite pretty.

Ratanakiri motorbike tour to Stung Treng

This place is nearly a Chinese enclave in Cambodian territory. Most villagers don’t even speak Khmer. Upstream of the Se San are a certain number of Tumpoun villages that practice funeral statuary which is spectacular. Continue to the village of Ka Choan that has superb totems.

We leave the eastern highland by heading west towards the Mekong where we going to stop at riverbank town of Stung Treng.

DAY 7: STUNG TRENG motorbike tour to PREAH VIHEAR (B)

Breakfast at local restaurant. This morning we set out on our journey to Preah Vihear Province travelling through the wilds of Cambodia. We will stop for a short visit at the TbengMeanchey city before driving on to SAEM Town, where you check in hotel.

The UNESCO Temple Sites of Preah Vihear

In the afternoon, drive up Preah Vihear Mountains to see the UNESCO Temple Sites of Preah Vihear, standing on the hilltop of Dangrek Mountains Range. Down below is the border of Cambodia – Thailand.

DAY 8: Phnom Penh Motorcycle Tour To Kampong Cham, Kratie, Ta Seng and Siem Reap: PREAH VIHEAR Motorbike Tour to Ta Seng (B)

After having breakfast, We keep on riding northward to a poor less-known area named Ta Seng. En route, we’ll get by some big waterfalls and experience some dirt tracks on rubber plantations & rice fields.

After having lunch (Your own account), We continue to Ta Seng village where we are going to stay overnight in the village homestay.

Day 9: Ta Seng motorbike tour to Siem Reap (B,-,-)

Ta Seng is not a regular village but it was a city a thousand year back. One of the last kings of Angkor built the largest religious complex of the era here in Preah Khan Kampong Svay or the Great Preah Khan.

We begin the day by exploring this giant temple complex with its enclosure cover an area of 5 millions square meters.

By the end of the day, we’ll ride back to Siemreap

Upon arrival, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the city by the sunset situated on the confluence of the four rivers.
